Im heading to limerock april 4th, my mods are invidia dual and 70mm test pipe. They strictly enforce going the car being louder then 89 decibel. From 5 feet away i have heard people say they are 114 decibel with my mods. But i know at limerock they measure from 50 feet away, so i am unsure if i'll be ok. Have you guys had any experience with this? thanks a lot.

 

How many feet away are they going to measure?

At 25 ft, my S2000 reads 91db with the stock cat and single exhaust. If they are going to enforce 89db at a close distance, thats pretty strict.

 

They measure from 50 ft away, and yes, they are very strict about it.

 

Cant tell from your photo but I know they have a roll bar requirement there too

They are very strict. Bring "something" along that you can use to quiet the exhaust.

 

With an invidia? No way in hell.

 

You will probably be over. I am typically anywhere between 93-96 with my straight pipe with a race muffler and a cat with the tip pointed away from the side of the track that they meter from. Typically on driver's right just before west bend. For races we are allowed 103 db. I would definately do something to quiet the car.
I have a single Invidia with a gutted cat on my street car and the two set ups are close by ear.
