HF trailer spring dimensions
One of the leaf springs on my Harbor Freight utility trailer cracked on the way down to San Diego on Friday, causing the trailer bin to settle onto the axle and the fender to rub the tire down to nearly bald.
I applied a "band-aid" fix, which may or may not be stronger than the original spring. However, I would like to replace both springs with new ones to reduce the potential for future fatigue failures. Harbor Freight will sell me the springs, but it will take 6-8 weeks. I would like to get the springs by next weekend before I tow the trailer 400 miles back home.
Would someone be kind enough to take a few measurements of the springs on their 4'x3'4" Harbor Freight trailer (12" wheel version)? I need:
Width of spring
Center of eye to tip of spring in a straight line.
Depth from across the top to the lowest point, with no weight on the spring
If I can get that information quickly, I can figure out whether it's possible to find a replacement, or if I have to order it from Harbor Freight.

Width of spring.
Height of spring from frame.
Length of spring. However, the base of the measuring tape is on the inside nut of the mounting hole. You'll need to add 1/2 width of nut to get to center point.
Let me know if you need anything else.
