Default home-made splitters?

i'm thinking about making a splitter for the front end. heard that alumilite was a good material to use. was told to ask 'the racers' for tips and a good how-to.
what materials are you using? anyone have pics? blueprints? advice?
thanks in advance.

I just made one out of .062 Aluminum
I cut it out with a cut-off wheel
It is attached to all the holes on the front bumper where the stock one mounts. It is sticking out about 2 or 3 inches from the bumper and goes back to the radiator support with one bolt holding it there in the middle where there was a existing hole.

it was cheap and easy.
I also sprayed it flat black

PS I do not have any pictures of it.

I saw another one similar to that. It looked good, and I'm thinking of doing it myself.

I have an aluminum one I bought from Moss Racing in Omaha a year ago for $600 delivered, but never got it mounted because it needs the OEM chin also, which I don't have, in order to mount it.

SLINKYDOG, who should be close to you then, had told me about Moss. Moss does the aluminum wings too (formerly HPM wing) like Krazik, davepk, and I have.
