Does anyone out there know the details of Honda's contingency program? Such as, how to get registered and where to get the necessary decals, etc...? The SCCA contact for such things, Kurt Spitzner, seems to be away until the 20th, well after the San Diego tour.

thanks,

Hey Jason,

I talked to Kurt before the Florida event, and he said everything for the first few events will be retroactive once they release the contigency information. He couldn't give me a contact within Honda to use, because the contingency will be administered by the SCCA.

So the short answer is that you don't need to register, and just keep a copy of the results for when they release the details of this year's contingency. I'm still waiting to find out if it's the first finishing Honda, or only first in class.

As for stickers, I don't think they have them at SCCA tech, but you can try. Otherwise, you'd have to get them made. Someone in Rally/Solo should be able to tell you?

And last but not least - Good luck out there!
