I am looking for some help from all the SoCal Honda racing folks. I have been doing hpde in an s2000 for a couple years. I am looking to race now but want to acquire a pepared civic for racing. I am in Miami FL and found a great civic in the LA area. Wondering if you can suggest a shop in the area to go over the car?

Prepared for SCCA sanctioned events ? then none of these places mentioned. It's really important that you know where your going to race or this car might not be a deal after all when you realize the cage is the wrong material, thickness and configuration to pass real tech - or the harnesses are too old or any of the little things that define a deal or not. Someone who can not only read but knows that big tech section of the GCR is what you need to be looking for.

The place we use isnt in the LA area really so you should contact calclub - the so cal scca region to get a current recommendation. Or perhaps someone can suggest a competant shop thats familiar with the current regs.
