Trying to get a feel for how many track days to build into the schedule for next year.
Tentatively 7 days, but we only have a 7 month season.

The number has been increasing every year since I got my first S. I'm going to try to stick with a NASA schedule for next season which looks to be 6 2-day events...which will be a lot for me if I do decide to do them all.

The last three years I've done between 15 and 25 full track days. I'll probably cut back a bit this year though
EDIT: Six month season (May to October) but May and October can both be iffy due to snow/cold so there are four really good months.

I would go at least two days a month if I could, but my problem is that the local track only has open track days 5-6 weekends a year if I'm lucky. I really need to move to SoCal!

I tracked my car for several years, before moving on to wheel-to-wheel racing. We have, effectively, a very short season, since it rains most days from mid-September through to June.
As I fell deeper and deeper into the habit, I did more and more days, probably doing around 15 per year (including some wet ones).
But there are people who do only 2 or 3 a year. It's entirely up to you, your schedule and your wallet.
