Default How often to align?

My car is my daily driver, mostly, and I track and autocross it. I had a "compromise alignment" put on several months ago, and I'm wondering how often I need to bring it in for alignment, given an autocross and a track day every few weeks, and something over 1000 commuting miles each month.

I did it whenever I hit something

Seriously, about every 6 months or so should be sufficient unless you change something in the suspension or notice any signs of improper tire wear.

As often as you can afford. I try to get my car re-aligned after every couple events, but I don't drive it on the street.

Stuff moves even if you don't think you hit anything.

You should be able to tell when the toe is out of place.

The camber is a bit harder to judge, but when everything is perfect,

there is no mistaking the difference.

^^ Haha, perhaps you picked up an improper collection of movements (mutations) and now your car has cancer.

Perhaps, and if so it has metastasized to the catalytic converter and O2 sensor for sure.
