Really nice quality forged pieces. I’m running the black ring anodized front and rear fold downs. I’ve unfortunately had to use the front hook several times to pull the car up on a flatbed. They work!

Although we do not have the adapter for the s2000 currently, so we are not pushing them as much.

I prefer the look of the fold down GT Motoring front and rear tow hooks, and fuctional as hell

The folding one is much nicer looking than the preeminent one imo

After a bit of poking around, a typical tow hook is either designed for show or designed to handle pulling forces inline with a chassis (tow truck pulling you out of the dirt). What about tow hooks that handle downward forces encountered when strapping the car down to a dyno or a trailer? A 90-degree aluminum tow hook, like the GT Motoring piece, seems like a it cannot handle that force but a really long steel piece like the J's piece may also deflect too much.
Any thoughts on hooks that can handle sustained vertical loading?
