Yep, still stock springs. Much larger than stock front swaybar (1.25" solid) or else there would be inside wheelspin. I have Penske shocks, but since this was near the end of a sweeper I doubt they are contributing much to the equation any more.
The correct fix would be with stiffer springs, but I don't think I'd be able to sneak those by stock rules.
It's illegal but you could probably sneak it by with some 2002 front springs. Not sure what that would do to the handling, might make things a bit strange.
Andy, is that with your solid Gendron bar, on hoosiers, on concrete??? Whoa.
I was experiencing a lot of inside wheel spin today for the first time. I think it was mostly the fact that we're on the stock front sway and first time of R comps. So do you still get a fair amount of inside wheel spin with the hoosier/gendron bar combo?
That was with the Gendron 1.25" solid bar on the stiffest position. Hoosier A-compound on very grippy concrete and a nice warm day. Surprising thing to me after seeing the picture was that I was not getting any wheelspin (or at least very little). I guess you don't need much tire on the ground for it to hook up.
It would be interesting to know if rzrsedg had any wheelspin issues, since he was on Konis and the improved Comptech bar.

Oh yeah I did...
It wasn't too bad though. But if I was on my new Hoosiers it may have been
worse.
My first run had a bunch of wheelspin - but the bar wasn't full stiff - so I bumped the bar up to the stiffest setting.
Oh - I have an '02 with the improved comptech bar and konis.
Since the front wheel is also all but in the air I'd say your pretty balanced. If they both get up, wheel spin is probably not going to be your biggest problem.
In fact I doubt you could lean it that much in a smooth corner no matter what the grip. I'm thinking maybe you had just given an abrupt steering input and the car hasn't rebounded yet.
Actually my first impression was that you've just gone through a bump or dip and the car has just landed from a sideways hop, but the surface looks smooth.

[B]I thought this picture illustrates the problem the S2K has with high grip tires/sites causing inside rear wheelspin....
