Has anyone seen/used the Intercomp lap timer?

How does it compare with the Hotlap?

Are the trasmitters compatible?

I may be mistaken but I believe the Hotlap is made by a company called Longacre here in Washington.

Just ordered the intercomp. Its smaller, has 250 lap memory and can be hooked to a pc. Both units will work with either transmitter....

My intercomp just arrived today... I was wondering where the best spot to mount the receiver is? Its only about 1" square and 3" long.

If you lay the longacre flat on the dash does it still work--as opposed to putting it on its side.

Otherwise I'll be Zip tieing it to the roll bar....

I also bought an Intercomp last week. I mounted the display to the air vent just to the right of the steering wheel using some of those velcro cord strap thingies (I bought a roll of them a few years ago and use them all over!).

I zip tied the reciever to the roll hoop. Might not work with the top up.
