I found this on the net a couple of years ago. It makes for interesting reading...

Warren Chamberlain, kart racer, has written a very interesting and FREE article about the mental aspects of driving. Its focus is on racing karts, but you can easily apply this to any type of racing. This guy has really gone way above and beyond what I've ever seen regarding how the left and right brain hemispheres work together. This is not a light read so I haven't read it all the way through yet to give you a review. But I have read portions of it, and my, he certainly develops some really great ideas. We have tons of books on HOW to drive, but very few really cover how to train the brain. Well, Mr. Chamberlain has done a tremendous amount of research, and it shows, so I urge you to check it out at
