Crash - I've got most of it in a box on the side of the house. Your welcome to whatever you need.

You had better get him to clarify what he means as the heater box. Search on ITforums and you'll see a bunch of discussion about it. Once you get to know some of the regulars over there you know who is on the rules committee or prepares top level cars and you have to give a little more weight to what those people say vs Joe Anybody.

BTW, who did you talk to?

Edit: Some people use the reasoning that it says that "Air conditioning systems may be removed in whole or in part" to pull the box. The problem is the heater also uses the box. Remember the IT rules say right in the beginning: "No permitted component/modification shall additionally perform a prohibited function." So the approach that most of the rules nerds take with the heater box is what would be in the car if there was no A/C and just had heat only.

It's a sticky subject.

James why do you care about ~10lbs of plastic when you're gonna have to put in 200lbs of ballast anyway?

Jeremy,
I am going to get all of what i may need from bill I just need to call him and figure out when and how.

Rylan,
I don't care but if it does not have to be there why have it. I look at like wearing underwear. if you don't need it why wear it?? (always nice in a mini skirt)

To All,
I figure it like this. Who is going to protest a heater?? I doubt I am going to go out 1st season and win it all. Or maybe I will and take over the world!!!!!hahhahahahahah

When I have the tech guy look at it he will tell me what I "have" to have.

also I had called them before I posted this all up here so I am going to have it but not install it if I don't need to.

anyhow thanks for reading my ramble
and now for a closing.
If I have to I will. this all started when I got rid of mine and thought I would have to spend a butt load of money to get another.
