Izzy brackets on OEM Hardtop

Default Izzy brackets on OEM Hardtop

Has anyone installed the Izzy brackets on the OEM hardtop? im trying to figure out how they do the rear section , if anyone knows or has any pictures please let me know!

edit: doing more research and it looks like i just remove the black plastic pieces in the interior trim?

I've seen installs where they place the OEM black trim pieces back on over the izzy brackets for a cleaner looking install.

Yeah you basically install then cover the izzy bracket. I would recommend painting the brackets black so they aren't noticeable, as well as the front latches. When they are silver they stick out like a sore thumb.

just an fyi.. to recover the brakets... you have to unscrew the brush thing.. just 2 screws with a phillips screwdriver.. I know plenty of people who couldnt figure that one out till i showed em lol

No because this is a fairly simple install. You should be able to figure out pretty easily, for what its worth.

Do you carry the sets for the gutted interior. I believe there are two types one for full soft top removal and one if you plan to keep, am I right?
