Default J35a8 on a S2000

Hi,

do you guys know about a J35a8 S2000 swap???

I think it can be a great built since the J35A8 gives 290HP and 256Torque.. with some mods it might touch the 350whp an who knows how much torque! and those engines are quite cheap on the market right now. my only concern is the balance of the car, since the J series are a little more heavy

Hi, I think thats not an issue, I have my S2000 with a K24/k20 on it and its working great. which is original a FWD. what I look on this engine it the power it gives. since the S2000 its really HEAVY compared to other race cars.

I think that the S2000 its one of the best OR the best car Honda has done for the track, it has a great balance, great aerodynamics, strong chasis, BUT they put TOO much weight on it. so for this car to give all its has on the track its by either:

1.lower the weight to 2100-2300lbs without driver
or
2. increase HP!

I see good possibilities that this engine can do the option 2

Decreasing weight is always a better solution than adding more power.
