I spoke with Jason a bit ago and he told me that he is in second place behind GH Sharp who is rolling a Boxster. He is 7/10th's of a second behind Sharp, who Jason describes as an extremely talented driver...
The AS field is 22 cars!!!
Jason, smoke some Boxster butt tomorrow!!
More to follow!!

I'll do my best! I like tomorrow's course better. It has some more quick transitions and less long, sweeping transitions. I had some trouble through those parts today. Tune in tomorrow and see what happens!

Jason kept his position in second, but ALMOST took 1st, missed by 1/10 of one freaking second!
Still a great showing...way to go, man!
Juliann placed 2nd and Brad was 8th overall...
Woohoo!

Whew... we're back. Man, what a weekend. It was quite the battle with G.H. and I almost had him. Next, time - we'll have our shocks next time, and the results would be different. The shocks would have helped me on Saturday, as there were some sharp transitions from full left to full right cornering and back again - The stock shocks could not dampen this quick and extensive transitions. The Sunday course was quicker transitions that the stock shocks could keep up with better.
Not to mention the fact that I know I could have driven better - this is still just our second event! It's going to be a great year.
If you haven't seen yet, the results are here: http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/nat_tour...an/results.html
Brad moved up and almost got into the trophies on Saturday, and Juliann came within .2 seconds of winning ASL. Overall a great and exciting weekend - and we were certainly able to turn some heads!
As for where we'll be, yes Brad's correct - we'll be in Texas for thos two events. Soon we'll have a website up with the schedule posted so you can see for yourself if we'll be in the area! Stay tuned.
3/4 weeks off until the Chicago Region driver's school where we'll all be teaching and then testing out our Penskes. Shocks should be in next week, with pics to follow.
