I dont know. But it seemed logical that with the wider fenders, you could get the tire to turn more outwards, therefore allowing a shorter turning radius. Does it seem illogical or is it too complicated?
This is illogical, not complicated, as fender is not a limiting factor.

yeah that too. I wasn't trying to bring logic into the arguement. thanks a lot!

Your steering rack has stops in it that limits the amount of lock.

How about a more serious question.

Why do you think you need more lock or a tighter turning radius?

you want less turning radius?

simple.. turn to full lock, rev up the motor, drop clutch.

Only if you do it next to the edge of a cliff.

I will chime in here..

From J's Racing Website:

Js Racing Tie Rod End Set, Pillow

Its similar to a bsk but designed for the steering tie rod. It increases steering response (Pillow Ball) and corrects the angle of the steering rod on lowered cars by spacing the tie rod down.

Js Racing Rear Control Arm Set, Pillow Ball

Similar to the GFL BSK. Material used: 2017S, S45C, SCM435

Ofcourse these products were extensively tested in the Super Taikyu (Mix of 400km, 300miles, 24hrs endurance races) Racing Series in Japan. Race proven and tested parts which I would feel comfortable using.

I am also testing their Roll Center Correction Kit as well.

I never said I was using their "Racing Tie Rod End Set" but the purpose is to optimize the geometry and eliminate the bump steer in the front.

I do however like the design, construction and material used in the "Js Racing Rear Control Arm Set." If I had a AP1.. that would be my choice.. plus its been race proven extensivly.

Where else would you expect our JDM s2000s to be extensivly raced in? JDM land.
