same as stock except ~10mm+ longer? i don't have a pitch gauge or calipers to measure.

i have the bolts and rca plates from my L1 that i'll sell if you need them. i didn't do my research and only realized later that the rca plates are recommended when you lower the car 40mm or more.

I have the plates (came with the L1). Not sure if I was going to use the plate or not since I am lowered around 30mm?

yup the ball joint is a easy one. When you take off the wheel and look at how simple it really is you will laugh.

as daverx mentioned, just put on an all season and drive cautiously to the alignment shop.
You could always pull out the strings and level to get the tire in question close to spec alignment and then just drive to the alignment shop on that.

these are j's guidelines..

S1 - Extra 2 degree adjustment for a S2000 with a stock height up to 40mm down
L1 - Extra 2 degree adjustment for a S2000 with more than 40mm down (can be used as S1 without the adj plate)

there's great discussion in these forums with regard to roll centers..
What exactly does that mean?

If the stock adjustment has a range of 0-2*, then adding the S1 moves the range to 2-4*?

yeah, it's a fixed offset balljoint. no adjustment in the j's piece itself.

Where? Or are you referring to this thread?

If someone can get me hardpoints I can put it in ADAMS\Car and get any kinematic stuff you want.

i didn't see any rc discussion here?

i've just searched 'roll center' and found some good nuggets of info on/including rc's buried in a lot of posts. i recall one person posting that they've tried with and without the plates and they couldn't perceive a noticeable improvement.. subjective but interesting

This proved invaluable to me in removing my balljoints: http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t...move+ball+joint

Instead of the ratchet, I used an 18mm craftsman wrench.
