yes, intake / exhaust side are different, that will be complicated just to figure that out. fuel / ecu setup will be costly, most likely going to be running motec. we should be having more update sometime next year when time permits to start the project.

Also from photos it appears the cylinder head and/or attached parts extend past the back of the motor, above the bell housing. Will be interesting to see how you make that fit in a S2000.

the way I see it, the only reason to do this is to say you did... from a performance point of view you can just turbocharge the stock engine. and spend the money you saved on 3 years worth of track days and tires and gas... or a second car...

The K20C1 is more an emissions and fuel economy motor than a performance engine. The power output OEM isn't that great for a 2L turbo. The head doesn't flow that much. There is no VTEC on the intake. the exhaust manifold is built into the head and water cooled.
The F-series and K-series Honda engines may lack direct injection, but in virtually every other way, they are superior.
