If you install/setup the bar correctly, you should be able to switch settings with the car on the ground in a few minutes and certainly less than 5. Keeping the steering straight is actually the easiest just to have the last chance of the bar being bound up. The end links slot into the channel on the arms of the bar and the adjustment holes are in the arc that matches the sweep of the end-links moving through them. It's all designed intentionally to be adjustable in between autocross runs which are routinely 5 minutes or so. Other bars offer similar rates but none feature that convenient adjustment. Adjustments make a noticeable difference in stock and modified cars. I have fully adjustable suspension (2 ways, both bars, etc.) and the front bar is my go-to adjustment still.

yes- I've been using it exclusively for the past 7 seasons.

it does click and clack a bit, but its an excellent piece. I used a CR front bar on my AP1 that was excellent, but I really like the Karcepts piece.

After you mentioned the noise, I started looking into it and it seems the Karcepts creates some low speed front end clicking and “binding” noises.

Karcepts lists some steps to minimize this on their website, but it seems like it’s just a characteristics and design of an adjustable sway bar.

Now I am second guessing the Karcepts, as rattles drive my OCD crazy and I don’t want to make the car more annoying to drive on the street. Not sure the slight advantage in AutoX would be worth the maintenance of the Karcepts bar and trying to minimize the front end noises.

Are there any non adjustable front sway bars that are maintenance free that will still be better than stock, I don’t know if the 00-01 or CR bars would be a noticeable enough difference? How about eibach, whiteline, cusco?

Never had noise issues from my karcepts. I have heard some Civic owners having issues there more than others.

Now... if you go with ANY aftermarket bar with non OEM endlinks, you need to know that the endlinks are wear items. They will be made of heim joints and when they wear, they will eventually start making noise. I have not had any from my Karcepts bar at all yet but it is just a fact with adjustable heim joint style endlinks. There is a point where you sacrifice some things for tunability, you have to decide where that is.

I went through 2 sets of links on my previous Moddiction bar. The ones from a user on here (anorexicpoodle) were a lot better in terms of slower wear.

Do you think a CR or 00-01 sway bar would be an improvement? Or not noticeable enough to be worthwhile?

There's actually a 2000 AP1 FSB and Eibach FSB both local to me on marketplace right now for pretty cheap.

Have searched and searched and can’t find the weight specs on the Eibach bar. Nor can I find the specs on the Whiteline bar. They list thickness but not weight, which I assume is the number that matters.

I do believe the Eibach uses the OEM end links as well.

My bar has been on my car since 2017 and has seen roughly 50k miles. I did replace end links once just because I felt like I should. If you set up the collars that center the bar correctly and tighten them well and your end links are good, it really doesn't make noise. Maybe every once in a while over a speedbump if the wheels hit and exit the bump at differing times but it generally is quiet. The only time mine made noise is when I didn't have the centering collars tight enough. It's not OEM simple and maintenance free but it should not be a constant source of clunking or anything. These cars are hardly quiet, even when stock and low mileage.

mine does not click and clack on the street. Only when going up my driveway at slow speeds as the bar loads and unloads.

It's the diameter and wall thickness that matters, or just the diameter of solid bars. The eibach is hollow and whiteline solid, the specs are on here if you keep searching, the eibach will be stiffer than whiteline (and OEM CR) but both are a lot softer than the Karcepts.
