Default Keep it? Sell it?

Chipped a rim at the lip. Holds air fine and our rim guy said its fine as its not where the wheel bead is.

I can keep it and use it or sell them. One fron rim is bent but hardly noticeable. Prolly only worth 800 or so in this condition. Since they are forged repairing is a bad option as it will be weaker

Depends really on what kind of use you get out of them.

Personally, if you like the rims, and you get mostly road use, and some spirited driving; fix the wheel. You're not going to suffer much from the weakened structure. If you're a track junkie and spend more time there than you should be, sell them and move onto something else I'd say.

I would be concerned about a crack forming from this damage. I wouldn't use this on track.

Inspect often.

If that's the case then I would definitely replace them.

Id fix it. They will probably still be stronger than most the cast wheels LOTS of people (like me) track on.
