Koni shocks and ride height
I hear the Koni shocks are adjustable for ride height? Does this mean they work with the stock springs? If so, would an S2000 lowered .6 inches by these shocks still be eligible for A Stock in SCCA Solo 2 competition, or does this just mean that they may be used with shorter springs?
I used to race an '89 Corvette in Solo 2 a few years ago, but I'm pretty out of the loop at the moment. I'd appreciate any info you guys could give me.

The Konis have two preset positions to put the lower spring perch. The upper one is the same as stock and the lower position represents a drop. The Konis don't come with springs, you reuse the stock parts, including perches and some other hardware (unless you are talking about something different like coilovers, of course).
For SCCA stock rules you will have to keep the shocks set to the stock ride height.

I don't know the exact spec, but the distance from the centerline of the hole on the bottom bracket of the shock to the lower spring perch should be the same on both the Konis and the stock shocks to comply with SCCA Solo2 stock class rules. This requires using the upper location on the Konis. This may not be obvious if you compare the stock and Koni side by side, as it wasn't clear to me that the stock lower spring perch actually comes apart in two pieces. Until I took the stock perch off and realized it was two pieces, I had been thinking that the lower position on the Konis was the correct one to stay stock.
I've seen some people mention a spec from the manual about what the distance from the tire or wheel to the fenderwell lip should be, but I don't see how that could be real accurate as it would be affected by alot of things including shock gas pressure.
