Rear rebound should have no effect powering out of a corner, no? Back end's squatting, not lifting.
Not directly, but affecting the dynamic balance of the car on entry and mid-corner affects the attitude of the car on exit. Dosn't hurt to try it and its quick and easy.

Since he said the car is good on entry/mid, -adding more front rebound or stiffening the front bar, or lowering the rear of the car would probably be better.

Just set up my v3's to the:

Compression: 2 sweeps from full stiff all around.

Front rebound: 3 clicks from full stiff
Rear rebound: 5 clicks from full stiff

It's significantly stiffer and more planted than my previous setup:

Compression: 3 sweeps from full stiff all around.

Front rebound: 3 clicks from full stiff
Rear rebound: 6 clicks from full stiff

I'm probably going to back the rear down to 6 clicks on the rebound to get a bit more neutral feel in the corners(currently a bit oversteer happy) since I'm running nonstaggered 245's.
any adjusts to make from this setup if you had 225/255R18 tires and stock bars on an AP2?

^^ Which setup are you referring to...2 or 3 clicks on the rebound?

My friend and I are going to the track this weekend and both have kw v3 coilovers. we are going to play around and compare the staggered to the non staggered setup since he's running 225/255 on ap2v1's. I'll update you afterwards.

TO start off we are both going to set it up as 2 clicks from full stiff on the rebound all around. Front will be 4 clicks from full stiff and rear will be 6 clicks from full stiff on the compression. This will be interesting...

Do I? I'm referring to COmpression as the adjustment on top and rebound as the adjustment on the bottom that you have to get underneath the car to get to.

I think typically, the rebound is adjusted through the shaft at the top and compression is adjusted at the bottom through the mushroom/foot valve. That's how my twin tube Konis are.

According to KW's website, you have it backwards: compression's adjusted at the base of the shock where it meets the suspension arm, and rebound's adjusted at the top of the shock.

Probably a good idea to read up on the effects of adjusting compression and rebound before beginning your test session.

Mine don't have clicks (old set), can anyone approximate how much movement is in click?
