Default KW V3's

I think I'm finally ready to order the KW's from GFL! I've wanted this kit since you guys started carrying it. I've looked at many other kits but have always came back to this one. I researched KW a long time ago and spoke with many people using them. They seem to be a very solid company with better than most customer service. I have a few questions about them though because I've heard mixed thoughts/input about the kit.

Is there a local (within N.A.) rebuild/re-valve shop? Do they have to be sent to Germany for service?

How many miles will they last under daily driven/weekend track use?

Can you have them customed valved later down the road for stiffer springs used in conjunction with wider R comps?

Is a pillow ball mount worth sourcing or are the OEM hats enough for my needs?

Are there any other odds and ends that I should know about them before use?

Do they come in JDM blue/green?

Thanks for the input guys and I hope I can get these soon.

Ryan

They are in German stainless steel, no color options. Adjusting collars are purple, springs yellow.
They make a swooshing noise over bumps, louder when the compression setting is softer.
If you are using a Gendron front sway bar on full stiff you will have to slightly bend the brake line brackets.

Regarding the custom valving. No I do not KW does that.

And about the stiffness, I personally find them okay at the stiffest setting. A tad too much for street tires.

I would imagine for R compounds they will not be sufficient. But that depends on tmany other variables as well.

Cale, I'm pretty sure you told me that you had to send out your kit for 2 weeks + but I didn't know where you had sent them and if there were more than one place send them.

I plan to use these with non staggered 255 street tires first, then R comps.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Does anyone know who has these instock and where to purchase them?

If we don't have them in stock in CA, they'll get there within two weeks. As a Gold member you're saving a good amount of money and we'll ship them for free too.
