Default KWV3

So I am trying to figure out where I should set the ride hieght for my KW's, and figured I would put the question out to you guys. Trying to get the car setup for Road Atlanta.

Anyone please feel free to chime in.

As the car sit's right now it's at 3 3/4" front and 4 1/8" rear at the jack points.

~13"-13.25" from the axle centerline to the fender is a good starting point.

I have my V3's set at 3.75" front and 4" rear from the floor to the jacking points.

What do you run for compression and rebound?

Thats about where I had my CS's set @. My fronts once somehow ended up dropping down to about 3.5" and with the 571# springs I was hitting bump stops @ SOW, so if you guys are running the standard 460/515# V3 rates, I wouldn't go much lower than 4".

As far as rake, I liked a bit, about an 1/8-1/4 delta in order to get a bit better turn in/response from the front.

What swaybar were you using?

I've driven a 571/571 V3 at 3.5"/3.5" front and rear ride height and it didnt bottom out at SOW.

Rene, Keep in mind you need to perform the jump at turn 3 (big time saver) use extra curb at T5 and T10. You need some ride height and suspension travel (especially out of T3 for the landing). Just thoughts FWIW.

I was about 3.75"/4" the other week at roebling it was fast but totally non pliant just flat it wasn't working good at all in T4>T5 etc.

I am raising mine up to around F/R 4"/4.5" and dropping the springrate to try and make it more driveable for Road Atlanta.

skips car was a good 3/4" higher than mine at RA in June and he was allover the kerbs
