Wow, I love the 3 shock setup...

If i understand it correctly, it allows you to split out common mode and differential mode damping.

In other words, when both wheels are under compression all 3 shocks are under compression. But, during roll when one wheel is under compression and the other is in rebound then the center shock does mostly nothing.

Yup. It's used to counteract compression from downforce, allowing you to use more compliant springs without the car bottoming at speed.

There are also hydraulic systems to do that:

You can see the 3rd spring setup better here:

Basically, you combine a traditional pushrod suspension with a monodamper suspension like a formula BMW has. Then the only real change you make is to free up the T-bar so it's not acting as a swaybar anymore and you let the side shocks control roll.

I set the pics up as a slide show giving each slide 2.2 -2.5 secs and it made it very interesting. Many of the shots seemed to give motion to the cars.

Now what's the story on the guy ziptied to the chair while sleeping?

Nice pics. John, I like the track shots from afar to show the car's position on the course. You guys must have walked a lot to get all those different angles. Nice close ups too Rob.

Rob you have me SOUNDLY beat on the photography skills! Although I suspect you might be using slightly better equipment than my little Sony DSC-T1 pocket cam...

Wildncrazy, it works like this: You CAN choose to get completely drunk and pass out early every night. You CAN choose to get so drunk that you puke in the tent trailer on Friday night and make the whole thing stink for your for friends for the rest of the weekend. But you WILL wake up with 50 lbs of camping equipment zip-tied to you and "BALLS" written across your forehead if you do so.
