Any good ways to save weight on an S2? Have you guys played around with fibreglass or carbonfibre body panels or removed undercoating? How about taking out the electric top mechanism? What are the racers and track guys doing to get the weight down? Thanks!!

Don't forget the lightweight, racing carbon fiber hood prop rod .

I did that some time ago and enclosed it in balloons - because of the weight savings. however... I discovered my rear was lifting and that just wasn't optimal for my driving style.

Our car has undercoating, just not a ton. There's a bunch in the rear and along the tranny/drivetrain.

There's also a bunch of dynamat stuff that is installed all an over under the interior.
