lowering
I have some questions regarding lowering the S. I have heard that if you lower the S too much it screws up the handling - something about toe changes in the rear suspension. Those of you that autocross or track your cars, do you lower your car? If so how much? Did it make the handling better?
Instead of telling me how much you lowered you car, what is the distance of the highest point of the wheel well (fender) above the ground (I think my springs have sagged as I don't have nearly as much distance to the from the top of my tire to the fender as others I have seen).

For the most part lowering your car will get you zip in handling except a slightly lower Center Of gravity. lowering also shortens you suspension travel which can cause other problems. As said before it's not allowed in stock class for autoxing and you'd probably find that it would take you more time and money to come up with a car that handles better then stock if you were to go changing springs. Believe it or not the honda engineers knew what they were doing when they designed the suspension. I have a hard to believeing H&R or Eibach put in as much time on the suspension as the guys at honda.
I find mine sits very low as well, but I believe it's due to my 275 lbs, plus the 80 lb. toolbox I keep in the trunk. The driver's side is a full finger lower than the passenger side.
Anyway, I think this subject has been kicked around enough. I'm leaving well enough alone (like I need another excuse to spend money on this car).
