just about all aftermarket shocks can be rebuilt. The problem is, does the shock you have, have a US office to rebuild them or do you have to send them to the mfgr.

The latter would take a lot of time and $.

Krazik, what exactly does triple-adjustable mean? Damping, compression and what else?

Also, can you post pics of your JRZ's installed?

Thanks.

I'm sure it does, but I think that is true with any damper.

Gernby,

I think Docofmind also mentioned that JIC has a US based facility in SoCal. I found this http://www.jic-magic.com/

JIC USA
12229 Woodruff Ave.
Downey, Ca. 90241
Tel: 562-803-6122
Fax: 562-803-5012

The more I consider all the factors, I may go with JIC when my stock suspension needs changing.

I'm about to order the JICs.

Race dampers need to be re-built once a year if they are of the shim stack type, depending on the frequency of use. Sometimes you can go 2 years.
What happens is the fluid gets dirty and loses it's consistency, just like having to do an oil change.

In any case, it's always better to have a local "center" nearby in case something goes wrong or if you need re-valving.

JRZ's never need revalving because they do not use needle valves. Here is a blurb from our website, "Unlike virtually all other dampers, including Ohlins, this design does NOT use a needle type valve to adjust the damping characteristics. Instead a plate type is used, exactly like racing vehicles, to eliminate non-linear damper response, a side effect well known with needle valves"

Estimated rebuild period of 5 years on race vehicles, probably translates to 8-10 years on street.

Hope this helps

cheers
