Is this the system that a lot of people use to mount their cameras? Are you happy with the product? Did you choose to go with the normal windscreen mount or the low profile option and why? (Link: http://modifry.com/products/mounts/c...windscreen.htm)

Also, are the suction cup mounts from Modify reliable? Do they cause any damage/scratching/denting to the car?

Regular mount first because that's all he had at the time then I upgraded to the low pro mount for a better fov.

Mac, any advantage to this setup over the gopro included sticky mount?

 

I don't think it'll be nearly as solid or secure as the modifry mount plus the height might be a bit too low (just a guess though since I haven't tried it)

 

I have the regular modifry mount and I couldn't be happier with it. It works great and is easy to use and adjust.

 

Have the regular one and love it. It holds the camera very still and passengers rarely notice the little tumor on your glove box.

 

I'm also using the Modify mount which I'm happy with. I've used both the standard and low profile stand and both worked fine. I did add some bumpers to the bottom of my secret compartment lip to take up some of the slack in the lid and prevent unwanted side to side movement of it.

 

Have the regular Modifry single camera mount. Have no issues so far. It holds my "point and shoot" cameras (SD600, SD780, S95) without ever falling off. There is some wind noise unless you cover the microphone.

How easy is it to find a good iphone mount that works with the modify bracket? I want to shoot video with my iphone 4 untill I eventually get a gopro. Links to any good iphone mounts that work with it would be great!
