Default My first HPDE at Thunderhill

I just attended my first HPDE this last Saturday at Thunderhill. It was with Hooked on Driving and it was unbelievably fun! We got six runs plus a a few rides with our coaches. I will definitely be going out again. BYW, the CR did phenomenal. I never got passed once and there were two Vettes and two Elises.

So my question is: can I leave the tow hook in? I know it's kinda corny, but when I look at it just puts a smile on my face.

Photos were taken by gotbluemilk.com. I got many more and they are all that awesome. Great photographer. I just wish I had a full face helmet so you wouldn't see my ugly mug in the pics!
My instructor in the first photo was Doug and he was top-notch. I'm a teacher and I can say that not everyone that knows how to drive also knows how to teach, but Doug can do both very well.
Six runs was awesome! 20 minutes each! Definitely worth the money, but tired? No way! I would have kept driving until they had to pry my hands of the steering wheels if I could have!

I live in Myers Flat, right off of the Avenue of the Giants. Google maps told me to take hwy 621, which turns into an unmaintained dirt road about 1.5 hours in. Google forgot to mention that and I had to find out the hard way. Didn't get much sleep before this event! Damn you google maps!!!!
