Sorry, i have to amend the first post, i had x12 rear and x10 front. No way to run cota on stock pads, they would need a cooling lap every 2 laps and not up to the job.

I had to re-learn to use the curbs as part of the track, EU style and not just killer spots, TX style...

Beside the routine trackday checklist i'd say you want to focus on:

Brake flush and track oriented pads and rotors
Good alignment to allow stable trailbreaking
Suspension setup pretty hard, no bumps here!

I hope Bernie's dream of having an F1 even on the west coast comes true some day.

The track looks like so much fun no matter what level of car, climbing up turn 1 looks like a blast!

Really? More brake in rear? You sure it wasn't XP12 front, 10 rear?

How much pad did you go through in a weekend? Just planning for pit stops...

@CKit , yes, I am sure XP12 in the rear calipers. That's the way I like the brakes on the S. Before when I was tracking my DC2 I was using front DS3000 and the rears...I don't even remember! But we can't compare apples with bananas.

I did 4 sessions, out of which only 2 pushing hard on the brakes. I had my fronts pads at just a tad after the middle groove (i don't know how to explain it, the carve that splits the pads in two halves). Basically you could not see the middle groove.

At the end of the day I had zero-niet-nada-nothing left (don't tell the TD organizers, I was supposed to have 90% as per rules but I only had new OEM pads at home so... ). I'd say I used 1/5 of the pads on that day.

Did I already mention to flush the system and use superblue?

I made it to the track for the F1 race, absolutely amazing. It looks like you had a blast! Re: the KW V3s, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the ride quality. I have Clubsports with stiffer spring rates than the V3s and I felt they had the same ride quality as stock.

The speed you have to scrub off at the ends of the main and back straight have to put a ton of heat into the brakes. I'd highly highly recommend rigging up some type of brake cooling.

$30 worth of ducting along with some zip ties:

Your pad life should improve along with improving the life of the calipers, bearings, all the parts in the brake system.

$30 in reusable ghetto brake cooling probably would save you hundreds in brake pads (I just saw your updated pad wear).
