Default My S2K is Dead

Well, my S ddidn't go out in the style I expected. I figured these pictures would come after some wild day at the track. But no ... just a typical multi-car pileup on a SoCal freeway.

Sitting in stop and go traffic on the 101, I was stopped behind a Toyota Tacoma when a young girl in an SUV behind me decided not to stop. The truck ended up in my engine bay and my trunk was accordianed. Luckily the passenger compartment, like so many other wrecked S2K's I've seen, was perfectly intact and neither my hubby or I got a scratch.

I'm off to drive one of the "new" ones today (a used '06) to see if I can stomach the changes. I guess the good news is that the prices have really dropped!

- car still ran afterwards, so the engine is fine.

Let us know what you think -- I have yet to see a comparison between the '06 / '07 DBW cars and the earlier models by someone on the R&C forum.

I would do one but that's a lot of work That and I don't have that many laps put down in this car yet. Only a couple of cone dodging events.
