Just gave it a go, I can reach it strapped in tight to my surprise... the foam is a mold for a gurney flap, I have a few other molds for some other stuff, brake ducts, dash.

found out they count the driver weight at my first race so I can actually build up to 265hp. I plan on doing itbs, cams, complete exhaust, tuned on c12 race fuel. as well as a complete aluminum undertray and custome diffuser. Should be a national competitive car with this setup without a dought. question is will i be able to build it with all the overtime im going to have to work inorder to afford it lmao.

I might be wrong. But over here, it's pretty much impossible to build competitive S2K without force induction.
Take your car for example. 2600 lbs with driver. You need to make 288 WHP. There is no way an S2K can even make 250 WHP without the help of FI.
Also, the BMW been playing this game. They run S54 engine which make 350 WHP, and choke them. The way they choke them is to close the throttle by wire slowly to maintain the needed about 290 WHP. This mean they reach their peak HP in around 5500 and maintain it through out. This also mean they have a car that sip gas little.

They should make ST4 with 11:1 ratio.

So I am trying to read the rules for ST3 - am I correct in that the following would be assessed for this car?

Modification factors:
Weight (~2650): -.3
Non OEM Aero: -.5
275 DOT tire (c51): +.4

Is that correct? And am I missing anything?

Car does look great! I'll second the opinion that it is going to be difficult to match the top ST3 cars, as all the good ones will have near constant power in the usable rpm range. Can probably be pretty darn competitive on tight/short/handing intensive tracks, but you'll have your work cut out for you at tracks like Road Atlanta, VIR, Road America, and other tracks with long straights. Just means you're a boss when you can beat them all while at a disadvantage!!

ok you guys made me get out my log book here lol got me double checking my numbers!
2587 total weight with me in it. I cut to 155.
210whp
-.5 aero
+.4 DOT tire
-.3 weight
brings me to an 11.91 ratio
I can still get about 50lbs out of the car easly...
so yes right around 280 will put me at 9.1
I think if i do try and build it to a national level ill cut just about 100lbs and your right ill probably have to go with a 2.2L but i really would like to stay 2.0L's
280 na can be done for sure. I just really dont want to crack into the engine tho. I can bang on that thing all day long without a lick of trouble.
65 more hp and I dont think they will pull on me much.

Your goal is 275 NA WHP on an F20?

The amount DIY in your build is definitely commendable though.
