Default NASA TTB Track Record

What a nice ending to being very sick over the weekend. I would hardly breathe after 3 laps or so, coughing up bunch of junk, fever and body aches. Nonetheless, was able to put down a 2:24.302 at Motorsports Ranch Cresson near Dallas/Ft Worth. Previous record was a 2:24.9xx in an E46 M3.

This is my second time running on the 3.1 mile CCW configuration. I absolutely love it!! Major elevation changes, off camber turns, blind apexes..and no real straight, which is mainly why I like this track.

Sorry for the camera angle and mounting... it's not optimal at all. Need to get a roll bar mount for the GP2.

Nice lap! I agree, the bouncing around was about to make me sick too.

Heading to Cresson this weekend, weather looks questionable...

Do you have short gears in that? What's your best time on the 1.7 mi?

Gerry, I have stock AP2 gearing with flashpro rev limit at 8.5k. I don't know what my 1.7 times would be with this setup. Does my gearing seem different/shorter to you on the 1.7 part of the track?

For what it's worth every time I watch a video of some one hauling a$$ it looks like the gearing is shorter than stock.

I agree, I think its due to the driver keeping his speed up on corner exit so he hits redline a lot faster than if we exit at 4,000 RPM.

What groups do you guys usually run with? I have been trying to hook up with S2K's at MSR. I usually run with Apex.

Yep, definitely.

There are a couple of turns that most S2ks would take in 2nd gear, I just try to carry more speed into and out of them to stay in 3rd. The 4400RPM vtec engagement on the flashpro really helps with staying in 3rd gear as well.

There's one turn where most S2ks would use 3rd as well, but seeing that I'm exiting that turn at 74mph, I'd rather leave it in 4th. AP2 gearing.

Thanks for all the comments and compliments.
