NCRC and broomstick rule
For the norcal and socal guys, who ran with NCRC before, got a question for ya. I recently registered to run buttonwillow with NCRC on 6-5 and they sent me a confirmation email and asked if I pass the broomstick test, now I searched the website and didn't get an answer on how strict they are about this policy.
I have f1spec type5 seat and the buddy club rails but I don't understand how people can set this rail to the lowest setting because if I do, the seat slider handle can not be lifted and i can't even install it. I have it at around the middle which is almost the same as stock height, and I'm over the broomstick by about 2 inches or so. If no one has experience with them or contacted them regarding this rule, I'll shoot them an email tomorrow and let you guys know!

sweet! another s2ki person signed up for june 5 and 6! when you are there, come park with us. there will be a pretty decent amount of norcal s2ki-ers going not to mention rob (rob.ok)
i am actually running the same exact seat rails as you. i just flipped the bar upside down. it works perfectly. i was hit with the broom stick rule before and they made me go back into the pits and lower my seat more (this was with the bucket seat with the buddy club rails).

The main benefits of lower seat rails are :
1. Lower center of gravity (supposedly)
2. Lower seating position, obviously, which is great for taller drivers
3. Better protection from a roll over since this will put your head below the top of the roll hoop. VERY IMPORTANT. You do not want your head sticking out above the roll hoops incase of a very unfotunate event that you somehow go off and the car starts flipping.
I have my rails on the lowest position both front and back.
