We're going to be trailering out to California for the December Speedtrials event at Laguna, and want to leave the car/trailer combo somewhere between then and the S2KCA track day at Laguna in January. I'm flying out of SF, so it can be anywhere from Monterey to SF. We'll rent a car to get to the airport from there. The car/trailer would need to be there from December 16th through January 12th or 13th.

Anyone willing/able or knows of anyone willing/able to rent us some space for about a month would be appreciated! If not, we'll probably have to rent a storage facility. Help!

Jason,

We might be able to swing it if nothing else better comes up. As we already have quite a few vehicles parked in front of the house it would require some neighborly negotiation. We're on the road between SFO and Monterey in San Jose, and it's about a 1.5hr tow from our house to the track.

Anyway, I'll check with the neighbors to see if the space might be available.

Thats a pretty generous offer Andy.... or is it just a clever way of getting some good shocks for your car? hehe

I may have some space. What are the dimensions of the trailer?

Thanks for the offers, guys... Andy - very generous. And feel free to take the MUGEN shocks off Nick's car while it's there. Our car still is missing a very vital part (wink wink, nudge nudge). Ours will be ready for Ft. Myers, but for Laguna we will be running Nick's car which is the red King Motorsports project S2000. So no Penske's for you!

Mike, if Andy's neighbors aren't keen on having an F150 and 18' open trailer with an S2000 on it parked there than I'll be in touch. That is if the above dimensions aren't a problem for you, either.

So don't worry about making a trip up north for espionage, Jason... the yellow car won't be there!

You can just email me once you get a better idea, Andy and Mike - And thanks again!

Oh did you want that back? It makes a great towel rack, a real conversation starter.

Not that part, Pete... a much more vital part that has been missing since Nationals.

I called Speed Trial USA about its Laguna Seca event next month, the guy on the phone told me they aren't sure if S2000's can participate in it yet. He says they're still working with the insurance company. Just to let you guys know.

He also mentioned it's the same situation with this Sunday's event at Buttonwillow which I've already registered and paid.

Excellent! Tommy at Speed Trial just told me S2000 is allowed in its Laguna Seca event next weekend. Can't wait!
