I just stumbled across this thread tonight and happen to overhear something about S2000's and Laguna Seca???? I live in Monterey, only a few short minutes from Laguna (don't mean to rub it in). Well, what's going on next weekend? At the least, I wouldn't mind seeing some other S2k's out there. Let me know guys/gals.

Looks like I'll be going to this event as well.

Ya... this event is listed as "invite only." I think becuase Laguna can be considered slightly more dangerous than most other tracks, they didnt want to open it up to many of the beginners that often attend SpeedTrial events.... and judging by the way last weekend's Buttonwillow event went, its probably a good idea.

Then again, most of the carnage seemed to go down in the "Advanced" group. Sheesh, I ran out of fingers to count the number of "Advanced" drivers that went off track in front of me... on the warmup lap! Seriously uncool. ...Oops... didnt mean to start a rant.
