How long are the straights? I couldn't find specifics about the track on the site. The new track in Utah is 7.2 KM with a couple of long straights and a some hard braking turns.

I've had the best luck following the advice of others here:
- Stock rotors & calipers
- Full race pads (Cobalts are great, had to use Hawk blues this season because Lude can't get Cobalts. )
- Brake ducting (I did 3 inch ducts per the FAQ thread here)

Never had any issues with the above on track including on the new track here.

Not just me Mike, no one can since they're not being made currently.

I keep hearing rumors and speculation about the new Cobalt compounds being available "any day now" in the S2000 fitments, but so far, other than a few test sets, it's just not happening yet.

Trust me, I wish I would have been able to sell them all year.

I did 3-inch and now think 2.5 inch would be preferred.

I think 2.5 inch is plenty of area for airflow, and that extra half inch would solve a lot of clearance problems.

Trust me I want to. It has literally kicked the shit out of my business this year to not have the right brake pads available for you guys.

Kicked the shit out of my pocket book as the Hawk Blues are considerably more expensive.

I didn't have any clearance issues with 3 inch, but I also didn't mind cutting through the car panels.

Thanks for all the input guys.

Regarding the brake fluid, I have Blitz/TRUST DOT4 at the moment, the local RallyArt dealer sells DOT5.1 what supose to cook even harder.

EBC Red Stuff available localy for 250USD a f+r set, should I give it a try?

If not, where to get proper Hawk pads?
