Default NEED NEW CLUTCH / HELP?

Hello all,

Just got back from Tony F. in the SF valley (CA) and he recommended i change my clutch before i join the S2K challenge this month. My MY03 has 57k+ on it.

Without being too extensive, he recommended ACT PRESSURE PLATE and a LIGHTER THAN STOCK FLYWHEEL (comptech).
My car is mainly for week-ends / track driving. Not my DD...

What would you recommend? where would you buy? Kind of in a rush...

I'm sure this question must have been asked a lot, but i cannot seem to find some recent input.

Your help is as always tremendously appreciated,

Cheers,

I almost posed the exact same question! Except mine is also a DD

Check out the sponsored section. NoLimitMotorsports has a deal on ACT products (PP, flywheel, and disc)

I have the ACT PP and flywheel. Don't remember the dealer. Do a Google search.

However, I don't think it is necessary to go the aftermarket route with stock power, if that's what you have.

I just did it b/c it was cheaper than paying the dealer.

Since bolt ons add minimal power then I would say you could use a stock clutch.
