Stock Clutch Weight?
Ok, I need a bit of help. My car just turned about 70k and ive noticed a bit of clutch slippage. Im looking into replacing the clutch, presure plate, flywheel, and release bearing.
As it standing im looking at the ACT clutch kit with the Comptech flywheel, but im concerned about the RPMs dropping too quickly. Anyone know what the stock flywheel weight is and how much a difference this set up will make in catch point positioning. thanks!

People who buy that HTG clutch-kit have nothing but good things to say about it. I have considered purchasing it once I need to replace my clutch, but I personally have a very big problem with the quality of ACT products so I think I'll be going a different route instead. There preasure plates seem to be of alright quality, its just their discs that have been known to fall apart (probably why HTG includes a stock Honda disc instead). I also really don't like that all ACT does to increase holding power of their clutches in make the preasure plate stiffer and stiffer (not really the greatest for your crank bearings) whereas other manufactuers use a disc with a higher friction coefficient material.
I got a call from a guy at Competition Clutchs on the West Coast. Im very tempted to get one of his clutchs as they sound like a great deal. Anyone bought one of thier stage 2 products with the 11 lbs flywheel?
