Default New setup = understeer

At the last track day, same exact track and direction (Street of Willow CCW), I was suffering from a little oversteer. Since then, I:
- added Wasp track splitter
- swapped ST Suspensions fsb to Saner front sway bar on softtest setting
- installed roll bar
- removed passenger seat, softtop, interior panels
- went from -2.7f/-3.2r to -3.3f/-3.2r camber
- swapped from HKS Hipermax III 13k/11k to KW V3 12k/10k

..now I am suffering from pretty bad understeer mainly from the lower-speed corners since pretty much all corners at this track are relatively slow.. where the splitter can't help reduce the understeer very much.

I believe the sway bar is the one that is causing the understeer. Am I correct?
I know some people have KW V3s with Saner fsb at softest setting and they said they car felt neutral, but I guess that's subjective and changes per car.

Setup that remained the same:
- 255/40/17 non-staggered
- AP2 MY07+ rear sway

You are correct. Go back to the regular sway and test some more. That's a lot of changes to do at once... =O

Yea, I know it's a lot, but I went 6 months without going to the track. I couldn't help myself.
I forgot to note that the previous setup had an ST Suspensions fsb. I'm not really sure how thick or stiff it is. I guess I'll bring a few sway bars at the next track day and test them out.

OEM Ap1 or CR FSB should balance it out. Or drop the front KW springs back to 10.

Fsb setting IMO. Also maybe check the rake of your ride height setting

You could try going back to your old front camber setting to see if that helps because 3.3 might be too much for your street tires--I'm assuming you're running street tires so your new, very stiff front suspension is pushing your front tires into a skid too easily. Running r-comps might help but you will probably have to go stiffer in the rear (springs or sway bar) or soften the front.

I'm running super old, heat-cycled out r-compounds (2008 build date; R888) if that helps.

Is the idea here that less negative camber in the front could increase front grip?

OP, if going back to a softer front sway bar helps, pairing an early AP1 rear bar with your Saner front bar may be a good match.

Get some decent rubber on and then evaluate.

I'll try putting an MY00-01 rear sway first. If that doesn't work, I'll swap my Saner bar back to my previous ST Suspensions front sway bar (less stiff).

Yea, I'll get some new tires soon as well if the above don't fix the issue. Well, I'll get new tires anyway, but I'll do it one at a time.
