I'd buy the 1-3/8 hollow Gendron if I was shopping today
What is your reasoning behind this?

One other side effect of a big front bar (I'd buy the 1-3/8 hollow Gendron if I was shopping today) and non-staggered race tires is that the car will understeer like a pig on the street with staggered street tires. Count on buying a non-staggered tire setup for street use if you like to play at all on the street.
Huh? I've run the Comptech swaybar on full stiff with staggered street tires since the bar was available and have never felt it was a pushy pig, either on the street or on an autocross event. Not to mention, driving to the point where you would experience the under- or oversteer on the street is definitely not cool...

My guess is that its a proven bar. Wynveen used a similar setup, Collett won Nationals on it, 2 of the top 3 S2000s at the '08 Nationals had it, and the closest competition is unproven (ARE).

I'm with jguerdat on the street setup. With my bar on 50%, the OEM RE070s perform just fine for the streets. It is still easy to get loose when needed. The 225/255 RE01-Rs performed even better around "the dragon." Stability is far more important at speed than maximum bite at the expense of loosing it.

Oops, you're in the wrong forum. Here's the page you wanted.

And it absolutely is an understeering pig with a big bar and OEM S-02s. No question.

I had the same experience with a big front bar and staggered street tires -- terminal push.

It's a bit stiffer than the 1.25" solid. It's about 8% stiffer than my (used to be Wynveen's) solid 1-5/16" bar. Most people run the 1.25" Gendron bars at full stiff when running non-staggered A6s, which means to me that you likely could go stiffer without any troubles.

Of course the ARE bar sounds promising too.
