Default Non-staggered setup

Couldn't find anything that would answer my question, so i made a topic...

I'm planning to track my car heavily in the coming season, and i have a pair of Toyo R888 235*40 on Team Dynamics Pro Race 17x8 alloys which i had on the back. I thought of buying another pair of same sized Toyos to put on the front for purely economical reasons (so that i can rotate them around, since all tracks here are anti-clockwise).
But the question is, what would it do for handling? will the car oversteer more? Bear in mind that most tracks are quite slow with sharp turns (2-3 gear 99% of the time)

Do it. If your balance goes weird, adjust your sway bar sizes.

I have 2 sets of wheels for my car
1st set is 4 AP1 rear wheels running 245's
2nd is Volks 17 running 275's on all corners
I am not running a rear sway bar and a mugen front bar.

they will fit on a stock car but you have to roll the front fenders.

being able to rotate front/rear won't really help with that, you would want to swap left/right in that case.

Yes, having the front and rear tires the same width will lead to more oversteer compared to a setup with wider rear tires.

Do it, it will help your turn-in. And like it was said above: if the car is too loose, take off the rear bar.

I was running full slicks (yokohama or dunlop)
235 rear (max in 2 liter class) and 210 up front.
Same day I put 235's up front, and the grip didnt increase up front!

So please explain.

What were your pyrometer readings across the tire on the 235s you mounted up front?

That would be my guess as well. The front is undersprung for R-tires, let along a real slick.

I would assume that the spring/shock/rim width/camber were all insufficient to control that tire.
