NTO1 Users
I'm going to be using some Nitto NTO1s for the first time at an upcoming track day. 225/45/17 Fr. 255/40/17 Rr. the car is almost completely stock just lowered 1". What are you guys running for track tire pressures? Cold/Hot?
Also what are you guys finding these tires like in terms of camber? Currently set at 2* Fr. 1.5* Rr, factory toe settings.
Thanks,
Julian

I've been running NT01s for a few years now and my car likes about 37-38psi hot. I'm running 255x4 and I run the same pressure front and rear.
Cold pressure depends on how cold. When I roll into the paddock in the morning I bleed them down to 32, then bleed them down to 37-38 after every session immediately after getting out of the car.

you will not be getting the most out of those tires with the camber you currently have. check the wear triangle on the outside edge of the tire after your session; you will be rolling the tire over that whole mark significantly. I run close to 3 deg in front, and close to 4 in the rear, lowered to 3.75F/4.00R at the jack points. With that camber, I am right on the edge of the triangle on the outside front tire, usually the left on clockwise tracks. I have a bit more to go on the rears, I am not gutsy enough to put that much agression/speed into turns.
Ran these tires for a few seasons... Potentially helpful input that I can contribute from my experiences:
They fall off quite a bit when they climb over 41psi... under that, in the 38-39 hot range as Rob suggested, should be your aim.
Camber will depend on a multitude of factors - driver, car, track, etc. Safe to say you'll want something -2 or greater. I ran mine in the neighborhood of -3.2 to -3.7 depending on the track I was at.

Thanks for the input,
I expected that I needed more camber. How are you all achieving over 3* degrees camber front and rear? Last I remember setting up my alignment, I maxed the front at roughly 2.5 because any more and I would be sacrificing caster. I honestly don't remember what the rears maxed at but I know I got them as high as 2.5 without issue.

I run -3.5 front and -3 rear camber with 255x4 Nittos and 245x4 Hoosier R6s. I have SPC adjustable ball joints in the front and Megan Racing bump steer kit in the back that adds a little more negative camber adjustment.
