Be prepared for some oversteer with that setup.

Played with pressure on my NT01's this weekend. Started out a bit high near 41 psi (as measured immediately after getting back to my paddock spot). They felt a bit squirrely at that pressure. Brought them down to 38 psi and I liked it a lot better. Lap times improved by a few seconds, but some of that was due to me getting faster too.

-3.6 front
-3.2 rear

Aaron, if you're still reading this thread, what was your tire wear like on the Nittos? I'm getting significantly more wear on the outside than the inside. However, tire temps are about 35 degrees hotter on the inside. Is that similar to what you saw (or anybody else for that matter)?

My car on its previous tire setup had slight over steer at its limit(225/245 v12 Evo 2.0*/1.5* camber). I went with the larger rear tire thinking it should help with that oversteer. I'm a little worried now that I may have over compensated especially with the lack of camber at the front. Anyhow, I'll let you know how everything felt following Infineon on Thurs.

speedengineer - I haven't driven on this setup yet, I'll post tire wear and tire temp readings this next weekend after my event.

Should have understeer with the big tires and more camber in the rear.

Tire temps have to be taken as you come in from a hot lap and read in the hot pits. Taking a cool down lap will cool the outside edges and heat the inside shoulder.

Tire pressure is not nearly as time critical.
