Before this gets locked, mine cracked like that as well, but on either no-name tires, or the star specs. I can't remember.

I am with TubeDriver on this one... even a set of ferodo 2500's did not hold up on track for me, all 4 cracked and came apart by the end of day two, and deposited burnt pad material all over my rotors which I then had to get turned. They were properly bedded, but it made no difference, they just couldn't hold up to the temps. I would not want to track on stock pads!

^ Centric rotors, just blanks. They're like 45 bucks each roughly.

Here's a dumb question. I'm in the same boat as Pawan. Where is a good place to buy the Centric blanks?

And another dumb question, would Carbotech XP8's be good for dual duty as well?

Tire Rack sells them, so does Rock Auto.

If you're doing 70% track/ 30% street, you'll probably be fine with XP8s.. but they will squeal and dust and generally be a pain in the butt.

I bought my Centric rotors from Carbotech (ph: 877-899-5024) when I ordered my pads. Just call them directly and ask to speak to Mike, Jr. Tell him Wynn from Nashville sent you, and you would like the same discount I'd get the prebedded pads, so you won't have to waste time, and wonder if you bedded them right.

XP8's would be great for dual purpose. I use 10/8's. They squeal on the street, but I don't really care. To me it's just another S2000 noise

Never heard of anyone on here using EBC rotors, might be worth a try.
