Default Oil pressure problem

Ok here is the deal, I started tracking not long ago and i have progressed pretty fast. I can drive pretty hard and the past 2 events i have noticed something very weird, on long sweepers at high rpm (>7000rpm) the car does not like constant throttle, it feels like an on off switch. i can either go full throttle or vtec disengages. if shift to a higher gear i dont have that problem but i fall off the powerband at corner exit.

My car is an AP1 with nt01's and a wing. My guess is that im loosing oil pressure due to the high g's. Will an oil baffle like the ones trackforged sells cure the problem?

Were you running the car lower on fuel and are they left hand turns? Sounds more like Fuel Starve to me, and I've experienced similar issues in my car and a few customer cars.

I start with full fuel tank and end up with about 1/4 at the end of each day. I had the same problem through out the day so I want to rule that out.]

Both times I was experiencing this with right hand turns, both are high speed, long, constant radius turns around 80 mph.

If it's right handers, do you have a catch can? Just trying to rule out all possible things before pointing to oil starvation.

I do not. What does the catch can do and is it crucial for tracking?
