Sounds like Doug's Flamemobile, besides living up to its nickname, is battling for the overall win with Dearing's Viper. The T3-leading Evo is out, which should leave rlaifatt's S2000 in contention for a podium spot. Haven't heard anything about C3's car but have seen a few pics of it, so presumably it's running OK, just further back in the pack (remember they don't have any pro/semi-pro hotshoe drivers on their team).

There was a significant rollover wreck at THill; identities are being withheld for the moment, but it seems everyone's OK (though the car's a loss).

I guess Dave did :54's at sears for 2nd today. Behind Robi's EVO who blew its motor. Not sure where richard ended up but earlier today they were like 4 secs back.

EVO's are dropping like flys tho. 3 of the 4 of them are out. Tho one of the 3 was lost in Turn 8, I hear the driver was fine. He's a poster here. The other 2 went boom. But I guess robi is paying some dealer overtime rate tonight to try to get it back together for buttonwillow tommorrow.

I wish I could have been there, but my tired old (64k miles) motor gave up. But I've driven the shit out of it, I couldn't ask for a more reliable motor. F20C Rocks!

 

How much track miles did you put on that motor, Ry?

I heard Karner & team's experimental motor didn't do so well and he's reverting back to his stock spare for BW.

 

Over a 1/3rd. -atleast- 20k track miles.
