The final tallied results are not available until they are posted to the OTC website each night. I guess I could wait until the final results are posted before I give my "Geraldo-like" commentary on the event.....but then you would get the gossip later!
Many people have come up to me saying, "DAMN, these S2000 are fast out here." I explain to them they should attend a Speedventures event, as that is how all the S2000 drivers got to be fast.
The Pulp S2000 crushing everyone in T3! Flamemobile making the Radicals sweat a little in U1!

U3 is looking to be very competitive, with the standings showing a U3 (Krazik's S2000) at 9th, and two U3s tied for 10th overall.
At Derek Daly, the U3 Miata was faster than the 2nd place U2, and the normally aspirated S2000 (U3) was faster than the supercharged one (U2), despite being 3rd in class, and missed 2nd place by only 0.127 sec in the three cummulative timed laps!
Very close stuff.

I TOLD you that TurboDog Miata will hunt!
Buttonwillow was a battle between the U3 Miata and the U3 240Z. We were both swapping fastest laps in the 2:03's. The 240 guys were able to pull off the win. I believe we were 7th and 8th fastest overall, respectively.
Rylan's S2000 was a couple seconds off the pace. I didn't get the opportunity to ask if they were having issues.
