Pahrump Predictions.
Got home at midnight. Thanks for leading the way John (fluxen). Was a great route (thanks to Dearing for his recommendation)... no traffic and only about 6 hours without the stops for food and gas.
And as for driving into the ditch, who would have thought there would be a ditch right there by the track out in the desert?
And besides, I could hardly see through all the gravel and dirt on the windshield, on both sides of it. Oh, Elda rollbar is strong and works great for towing.
I vote Dearing driver of the weekend, even though he was beaten by Aaron (in my superior car of course
) and 3/10's behind Jason, as it was his first time in an S2000! He was faster than anyone expected in a dead stock car on skinny Michelins, and on the second day when he had a bit more experience, the results were flipped as he was faster than Jason (though to be fair, Jason stopped trying after he saw that Dearing didn't beat his Saturday time in the morning when the track was cool). And, he taught Aaron how to take another second off!
Thanks to Aaron, I now know that I need to find four seconds!
And thanks to Sphinxter for letting us try the wing.
Oh Aaron, after you left, I tried what you and Dearing said to do, diving into the turns and keep the tail out, but I spun twice in two laps, so then I quit while the car was still in one piece.

Ry, if you want, send me a set of hubs and let me cryo treat them. I d really l ike to see what impact they will have on the hub itself. My guy did all my inner bearings when he did my ring and pinion and told me that it will work for all of it.
Maybe this may buy you some more time before someone can make some stronger hubs.
BTW, have you taken a look at what they are running on the NSX in japan, that may be a start.

Krazik, he was saying that while the wave rotor is certainly PIMP!, the Moon Rotor is DA BOMB!

John, thanks for the translation.
no nerve, and I'm in perfectly good humor. I must have miss understood sevnt's post. I just didn't want there to be any missunderstanding about the brake rotors involvment (the was none) in the failure.
